I ended up with two pages for today….luckily, Cathy’s template set allows for that – ha, ha! The scout troop walked in the Veterans Day Parade for the fourth year in a row. So, of course, I am thankful for that! But, as I was sitting at Al Fresco having lunch, I realized that I am thankful for downtown Pensacola.
We are home tonight from Oak Mountain. It feels great to be back home, sitting in my comfy bed (nothing like sleeping in a cold tent in the woods to make you appreciate your bed at home!) Of course, being gone for the weekend didn’t erase the craziness of our life, just allowed us to escape it for a while. Tomorrow is the Veterans Day parade so I spent a couple of hours putting the girls’ badges on their vest. I considered doing my thankful picture tonight about Badge Magic, the ridiculously expensive but almost miraculous sticky stuff that makes putting badges on far less of a chore, particularly if you’re a procrastinator! But, the beauty of the season won out, rightfully so, I think.
