Most of the time, Gracie & Abigail are like oil and water. Sharing is a dirty word for both of them. It can be exhausting. They both have very strong personalities and are very opinionated about what they believe. They don’t agree too often. Usually, the only time they present a united front is when they think I have done something to wrong one or the other of them. Then, they stick up for each other and even when I want to strangle them, it warms my heat.
Sometimes, though, unexpectedly, and for no good reason at all, I’ll come across them like this, curled up together reading a book or watching the TV and I remember that the absolute very best thing I ever gave either of them is a sister.
